teen hair lossWhen I was a teenager, I had curly hair. I hated it. I always felt that my hair made me less pretty. And, unfortunately because of the time, we were not technically advanced enough yet. That meant I was not privileged with styling tools to minimize the frizziness of my hair or even give me the straight locks I was hoping for. Luckily, things got better, new styling tools were introduced, and I figured out my hair.

Being a young teenager is difficult. Hair problems add to it. Thus, teenage hair loss is a serious problem especially for social reasons. Not only is it extremely abnormal, it is also unnatural. Why is it then, that someone so young could lose his or her hair?

When someone who is an adolescent experiences hair loss, it most likely means they are sick or not eating right. It could also be a result of a grooming problem. Maybe the way they are wearing their hair is not conducive to their hair’s health. Fortunately, there are medications available to treat the problem that is causing the hair loss. Also, the good thing is most hair loss that occurs when you are young is temporary. It usually grows back in no time.
